You ask me how I gave
My heart to Christ
I do not know.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in your love for me.

Lord Jesus,
I give you my hands to do your work.
I give you my feet to go your way.
I give you my eyes to see as you do.
I give you my tongue to speak your words.
I give you my mind that you may think in me.
I give you my spirit that you may pray in me.
Above all
I give you my heart that you may love in me,
your Father, and all mankind.

Dear Jesus, I commend my friends to You (especially N. N. ). Bless them, dear Lord. Give them grace to love and serve you always. Assist them to bear their trials. Help them in their temporal needs. Grant that we may be all united with you in Heaven.

THE ANSWER IS SURE!

The time may be delayed, the manner unexpected, but the Answer is sure to come. Not a tear of sacred sorrow, not a breath of holy desire, poured out in prayer to God will be lost.

Lord, you told the Apostles to "Go and teach all nations". Many have heard your Gospel, but many more have not. Give missionaries great faith and new zeal. Increase their numbers.

Let them bring light where there is darkness, hope where there is despair, love where there is suspicion and hate, knowledge where there is ignorance, and health where there is disease.

Help them to lead people to fuller lives in which they recognize themselves as your children.

And if, Lord, you are calling me or one of my loved ones to be your messenger give us the faith to accept your call generously.
